About the Author

Riccardo Dalle Grave, MD, is Director of the Department of Eating and Weight Disorders at Villa Garda Hospital, Verona (Italy), where he has developed the enhanced cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT-E) for adolescents with eating disorders recommended by many international guidelines.

Carine el Khazen, DESS, DEA, FAED is a clinical psychologist. She has set up and is the director of the Weight and Eating Disorders program at the American Center for Psychiatry and Neurology in Dubai, UAE. She is a CBT-E therapist, supervisor and trainer.
