El-Alamein, Egypt.

Rommel's Afrika Korps is winning the war in North Africa. Manfred Brehme, after witnessing the death of his friend, is questioning himself and their mission. Fellow soldiers are weary of him having seen his unrestrained anguish and pain. Crusader is the second book in the Danny Shaw / Manfred Brehme Trilogy, which follows the lives of two boys that are destined to meet at the battle of El Alamein.
