Ashwell studied at London's renowned Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design and her cult following began soon thereafter. In 2012, she launched a collection of vintage-inspired dresses, which evolved into a full lifestyle brand and the opening of her much-loved shop in Venice, California. In 2018, a healing journey moved her away from fashion and deeper into spirituality.
