Ensuite il donne coup sur coup: Le Coq et lArlequin qui prcisait, annonait ou devinait les directives de la jeune musique et autour de quoi se runirent les compositeurs du groupe des Six, Carte-Blanche, vingt articles publis dans Paris-Midi en 1919, o l'auteur essaye une liaison entre le gros public et ce que Baudelaire appelle: Les expressions les plus rcentes de la beaut, Posies (1920), o l'auteur, toujours soucieux de fuir le mot d'ordre des milieux de gauche littraires, vite les tnbres ou la fausse brutalit par un rajeunissement inattendu de la forme fixe et de la grce.
