Women of the New Testament: Their Lives, Our Hope

In Women of the New Testament, P a Septi n presents eleven women who encountered the living God. Some knew him personally and spoke with him, like Mary Magdalene or the sisters, Martha and Mary. Others, like Elizabeth, recognized him as God even before he was born. Also included are Anna the Prophetess, Lydia, the Samaritan woman, the woman who suffered from a hemorrhage for twelve years, and more.

Pía Septién earned a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Anahuac University (Mexico), and a Master of Theological Studies and Certificate in Pastoral Administration from the University of Dallas. She is currently pursuing a Certificate in Biblical Theology. In the past, Mrs. Septién has taught religious education, business, and economics at a Catholic private school in Mexico City and is co-author of a series of religious education text books for grades 7-9. She is currently Biblical Instructor at the Catholic Biblical School in the University of Dallas School of Ministry. She was born and raised in Mexico City and is a proud wife and mother of five.

Anteriormente, enseñó Religión en una escuela privada en la Ciudad de México y es coautora deuna colección de libros sobre educación religiosa para alumnos de séptimo anoveno grado. Actualmente es profesora de Biblia en la Escuela Católica deBiblia en la Universidad de Dallas. Nació en la Ciudad de México, está casada yse siente orgullosa de ser madre de cinco hijos.
