She received her Master's Degree at Bowling Green State University, Ohio. She has worked in the Sports Medicine and academic environments spanning over the past 37 years. Highlights of her career include: working as the Head Women's Athletic Trainer at UC Berkeley, Medical Chairperson and Coordinator of the United States Association for Blind Athletes (USABA), working as an Athletic Trainer for the United States Olympic Committee and dedicating the last 20 years as a teacher within the Temecula Valley Unified School District, Temecula, CA.
