About the Author
Lola Cabrillana es maestra, gitana y escritora. Nació en Málaga y se crio a las orillas de Benalmádena, pueblo en el cual reside. Educadora titulada, trabajó en una escuela infantil y de cuentacuentos mientras cursaba sus estudios de Magisterio, primero en Educación especial y, posteriormente, en Educación infantil. Ha colaborado con editoriales como SM y en proyectos para el fomento de la lectura en bibliotecas y librerías andaluzas. Además, desde hace más de veinte años, es docente en un colegio con población gitana. En 2020 autopublicó su primer libro, Voces color canela, que tuvo una maravillosa acogida por parte de los lectores. Dos años más tarde, fue galardonada con el Premio a la Divulgación de la Cultura e Historia del Pueblo Gitano en la XII Gala Premios Gitanos Andaluces.
