About the Author
Neil Freeman was the associate professor of theatre at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver. He also held the position of master teacher with Shakespeare & Company in Lenox, Massachusetts. His groundbreaking work in using the first printings of the Shakespeare texts in performance and in the classroom led to lectures at the Shakespeare Association of America and workshops at both the Association of Theatre in Higher Education and the Voice and Speech Association. He prepared and annotated the 36 individual Applause First Folio Editions of Shakespeare's plays. Paul Sugarman is an actor, editor, writer, and teacher of Shakespeare. He is founder of the Instant Shakespeare Company, which presents annual readings of all of Shakespeare's plays in New York City. He worked with the Actors Shakespeare Company at New Jersey City University as a teacher and performer, working as a verse coach and assistant playmaster as well as appearing in many of their productions. For ASC he has published annotated acting editions of Hamlet, The Merchant of Venice, and The Three Musketeers. With the ATC Conservatory Players he has worked as dramaturg and actor. For Applause Theatre & Cinema Books, he edited John Russell Brown's publication of Shakescenes: Shakespeare for Two and The Applause Shakespeare Library, as well as Neil Freeman's Applause First Folio Editions and The Applause First Folio of Shakespeare in Modern Type. He has published pocket editions of all of Shakespeare's plays using the original settings of the First Folio in modern type for Puck Press.Sugarman received a BFA from New York University and studied with Kristin Linklater and Tina Packer at Shakespeare & Company.

Returns Policy

You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).

You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
