How many times will a dog sit before standing up for good?

In A Dog Feels Like Sitting, Astrid Lindgren Memorial Award-winner Isol and acclaimed writer David Wapner invite readers to discover the quiet magic of waiting--together with a dog that feels like sitting.

This picture book playfully captures the eager, intermittent sits a dog takes to get its owner's attention before it can spring to life for a walk, blending humor and subtlety into a dialogue between words and images. Perfect for young readers--and anyone who has ever shared life with a dog--this story captures the rhythm of waiting, sitting, and hoping for that long-awaited stroll. With vibrant art and lyrical text, this tale invites readers of all ages to pause and discover beauty in the ordinary.
