Cottage of the Woodland Witch: Everyday Life Made Magical

"Full of ideas, folklore, and inspiration for beginning a home-focused magical practice."
--Arin Murphy-Hiscock, author of The Green Witch

Witchcraft is not always about what tools you have or how detailed and drawn-out the ritual is, but how you live each day. Cottage of the Woodland Witch shows practitioners of all paths how to begin living more intentionally and purposefully in the home.

Throughout her journey of becoming a mother, homemaker, and business owner, Sarah Burns-Napoli, also known as The Woodland Witch, discovered not just the enchantment that is to be found in the day-to-day but also the necessity of that enchantment. Sarah shows you how to focus on intentional living within the home and how to create magic in everyday tasks such as cooking, cleaning, and self-care. You can make the mundane magical and bring accessibility to the craft--with this book you will learn how to create an entire tool kit with items already present in the home, whether foraged or handmade.

Offering spells, recipes, rituals, and incantations, this practical guide highlights the importance of animism in the craft, inviting you to see the home as a living, spiritual presence--and offering heartfelt ways to connect with and honor the spirits that dwell within it.

Cottage of the Woodland Witch invites you to bring purpose, peace, and everyday magic into your life.

Sarah Burns-Napoli, also known as The Woodland Witch on Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube, is a practicing house witch, herbalist, folk practitioner, wife, and mother residing in the White Mountains of New Hampshire with her husband, daughter, two pups, and a kitty. She is the proprietor of the Folkcraft and Flora Apothecary (folkcraftandflora.com), an online emporium of herbal and magical goods that has experienced exponential growth and success since its launch in 2022.

Sarah and her work have been featured in many publications, including Botanical Anthology magazine and The Kitchen Witch Companion. Physical displays of her writings are located at the destination wellness cottage Glenn Hollow in Naples, New York. After the birth of her daughter, Sarah felt a shift in her craft. She found it hard to balance her personal practice in this new stage of motherhood. She began embracing this new role and, meshing it with her craft, created a more intentional and magical life for herself and for her family that she shares with her many followers.
