About the Author
David Soman grew up in a family of artists and has always loved drawing and painting. Over the years, he has illustrated many books, and with his wife, Jacky Davis, cowrote and illustrated the New York Times bestselling book series Ladybug Girl, as well the Agent Lion and Elvis & Romeo series. David's solo books include Three Bears in a Boat, The Monster Next Door, How to Two, The Impossible Mountain, and Papa's Home. When not working on a new book, David teaches at The School of Visual Arts in NYC. He lives in Rosendale, New York, with his family and a big, furry dog named Pico.

Jacky Davis, along with her husband, David Soman, is the creator of the bestselling Ladybug Girl series as well as the Elvis and Romeo and Agent Lion series. When she's not writing children's books, she works part-time as a bookseller at Postmark Books in the Hudson Valley, and sometimes at the local elementary school library. She is also a graphic designer and packager who has created book jackets, trading cards, catalogs, and more. She lives in Rosendale, New York, with her family and a big, furry dog named Pico.
