Subsequent chapters explore experimental data, magnetically coupled systems, low-dimensional materials, and the use of EPR to characterize excitons and exciton motion. More than 200 figures and tables appear throughout the book, which concludes with a pair of helpful appendices.

About the Author
Dante Gatteschi has been a Chemistry Professor at the University of Florence since 1980. The author of several books on magnetism, he is also a highly cited researcher whose more than 530 papers relate to inorganic chemistry, magnetism, and spectroscopy.
Alessandro Bencini is a Professor of Inorganic Chemistry at the University of Florence.
