Kathryn Sullivan, known as the Most Vertical Girl in the World, has spanned the greatest distance that any woman has traveled, from the deepest ocean to the heights of the space shuttles. One of the first American women in the US space program and the first to step out into space, she is also an oceanographer, explorer, coauthor with Michael J. Rosen of How to Spacewalk: Step-by-Step with Shuttle Astronauts, and author of Handprints on Hubble: An Astronaut's Story of Invention, which recounts her work with the longest working telescope orbiting in space. Michael J. Rosen has more than forty years of experience publishing more than 150 books for readers of all ages. Among his recent books for young readers are A Ben of All Trades: The Most Inventive Boyhood of Benjamin Franklin, A Tale of Rescue, and four books of haiku, all published by Candlewick. Returns Policy
You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).
You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly.
