Slattery, Chad: - Chad Slattery, one of the foremost authorities on aviation and aerospace photography, has authored a book, Inside Aviation Photography, and is sharing his expertise and stories about his work and experiences. He is based in Los Angeles, California where he grew up. Chad has always had a passion for aviation. Even as a child he was building plastic model airplane kits. Then in sixth grade when he borrowed his mother's camera and began photographing them, his career was born. Today he photographs extensively for the business aircraft community. His shooting, lighting, and post-production techniques are sophisticated, creating exquisite images for aviation and aerospace enterprises worldwide. Unmatched by any other photographer, Chad has flown in over 200 sorties in specialized photo Learjets. His corporate clients include Boeing, Dassault, Dynamic Aviation, Embraer, HondaJet, Lockheed Martin, Northrop Grumman, and Orbital Sciences. He also does magazine assignments and regularly publishes in Air & Space/Smithsonian, Aviation Week, AOPA Pilot, Flight Training, Business Jet Traveler, Pro Pilot, and Volare magazines. He belongs to NBAA, AOPA, the SoCal Aviation Association, and the Aero Club of Southern California. As an industry leader, in 2000 he co-founded the International Society for Aviation Photography.

Returns Policy

You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).

You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
