From the suffocating grip of a chokehold while trying to prevent a fight to the terror of a runaway horse colliding with traffic, my experiences are raw and real. I recount the heartache of losing my father, the trials of infertility, betrayal by friends, and the isolation I felt in post-Communist Berlin. Most profoundly, I discuss the challenges of raising a child with violent aggression, which led to his separation from our family.
Through these trials, I discovered healing and hope in God. The lessons learned during these difficult times are invaluable, and I believe they can inspire readers to strengthen their faith and overcome their own challenges. She graduated from Brigham Young University with a Bachelor's degree in Communications/Journalism. During her time at BYU, Kathryn anchored the radio news at noon. Following graduation, she focused her life on nurturing and raising her four children. She and her husband, Charles, now find joy with their eight grandchildren. Passionate about photography and cooking, Kathryn delights in sharing the fruits of these hobbies with others. Her book, Life is Hard, Now What?, reflects her insights and experiences, offering guidance and encouragement to readers.

You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).
