About the Author
Born in the hot spring town of Beppu in southern Japan, Fuyumi Soryo was in college for fashion when she won a contest that led her down a different path, to becoming one of the world's most beloved shojo manga artists. Her best-selling work is the teen melodrama MARS, now in print from Kodansha, with her other series including Cesare and ES.
