About the Author
Tyerman, Jane: - Jane Tyerman, RN, BA, BScN, MScN, PhD, CCSNE

Professor at the University of Ottawa, School of Nursing, Dr. Tyerman has over 25 years of experience in acute care clinical practice, and 15 years academic BScN and graduate level teaching experience. Other clinical areas of experience include critical care (intensive care, neonatal intensive care, and neurosurgical critical care), medical-surgical nursing, and psychiatric nursing. Her research focuses on simulation design and evaluation, neurofeedback, and mental health. Dr. Tyerman is Co-President of the national Canadian Alliance of Nurse Educators using Simulation (CAN-sim), which serves as a platform for simulation collaboration among health educators.Cobbett, Shelley: - Shelley Cobbett, RN, BN, GnT, MN, EdD
