He is assistant director of the Healthcare Simulation Center with DeSales University in Center Valley, Pennsylvania. Konzelmann holds a master's degree in education from DeSales University, a BS in chemistry from Muhlenberg College, and a secondary education certificate in chemistry from Muhlenberg College.
