Oh, Tal! Not Like That., a new book by autistic actor Tal Anderson and award-winning Hollywood artist, Michael Richey White, is Book 2 in the Oh, Tal! series for children.

Tal and the family cat, Winnie are once again taking on the world by being exactly who they are, and this time, they are doing it at school. Tal starts the school year off excited, but quickly learns that in the classroom, they like kids to follow directions, and do things the same. Tal has different ideas, however, and classmates and teachers work hard to teach and model the "right way" to do things.

In the end, they all learn a valuable lesson: that there are more ways than one to get things done, and that expressing yourself authentically leads to good things. Once again, Tal wins over hearts and confirms it's okay to be different, be yourself, and to follow your own path.

About the Author
Anderson, Tal: - TAL ANDERSON is a professional actor, filmmaker, and writer. She is an advocate for change, using her voice and unique platform as an autistic actor to support inclusion and authentic representation in front of and behind the camera in Hollywood. She is best known for her work as Becca King, twin sister of Dr. Mel King in the award-winning HBOMax series, The Pitt, but also for her role as Sid in the Netflix series, Atypical. Other roles include guest-starring as Becca Sullivan in Season 5 of NBC's Magnum P.I., as Gia in the Prime Video series As We See It, and as the English voice of Tina in the Disney Plus series, Team Chocolate.Tal has always been a storyteller, and as a child could be seen constantly using her FLIP video camera, or one of several hand-held voice-recorders to record every day life, or her daily performances of stories/scripts she had made up or written. It is this love of imagination that led her to acting and filmmaking as an adult. Sharing her childhood lived-experience in the OH, TAL! book series is another way for Tal to continue her love of storytelling. She lives in Los Angeles with her cat Winifred, where they can both live freely and be their true selves. www.theTalAnderson.comRichey White, Michael: - MICHAEL RICHEY WHITE is an illustrator and graphic artist working in television and film. He has created artwork for many different productions, including the art for the character, Sam, on the Netflix series Atypical, as well as work for countless prestigious and award-winning shows including Beef, Fallout, Dark Matter, and Barry. He has been self-taught, drawing and painting most of his life, wrote and illustrated the book Little Hipsters, and continues to illustrate all of the guests for the podcast, And the Writer Is. He tries to make the time to draw something daily, even if it's just a little doodle on scrap paper. He is autistic and uses his powers mostly for good. A quote by Walt Stanchfield has stuck with him over the years: "We all have 10,000 bad drawings in us. The sooner we get them out the better," but from Michael's own experience, he's rephrased it to, "It takes 100,000 drawings before you make your first good one." Michael is a father of five children, and lives in Los Angeles with his wife and youngest daughter.www.MichaelRicheyWhite.com
