Who were the Wise Men, really? Enrich your Christmas and Epiphany celebrations with this fascinating story about the Magi.

We celebrate Christmas every year and experience the incredible richness of the Nativity story, but how much do we really know and understand about the Wise Men? In One Star, Three Kings, the real story of the wise men--their ancient origins, their journey, and their gifts--comes to life in all its wonder and depth.

Join Balthasar, Caspar, and Melchior as they follow the star to Bethlehem in this fascinating retelling that blends Scripture, history, and legend. Learn the deeper traditions surrounding the Wise Men, their prophetic mission, and their role in the Feast of Epiphany. Follow the kings from their possible childhood homes to "the East" where they joined together to study the stars. See how their legendary origins may echo back to the time of Daniel and bring together the peoples scattered at the Tower of Babel. Discover their reverence for Mary and Joseph as you imagine their anticipation of who Jesus would become to every tribe and nation.

Inside this captivating book, readers will:

  • Meet the Magi - Discover where these wise travelers may have come from and how their story connects to ancient history.
  • Explore the Prophecy - Learn about the Old Testament signs that guided the Magi's search for the King.
  • Follow the Star - Uncover the mysteries of the celestial sign that led seekers of the newborn King to Bethlehem.
  • Understand the Gifts - Discover the meaning behind gold, frankincense, and myrrh---and what they tell us about Jesus.
  • Celebrate Epiphany - Learn about the traditions of Epiphany and how families can celebrate today.

Children and parents alike will be drawn into the mystery, wonder, and joy of the Magi's adventure as they seek--and find--the Light of the World.
