"Cosa state vedendo? *** "Lost places, found again" collects the photos that Roberta Giuffrida shot in Poggioreale, an ancient village in Trapani abandoned after the Bel ce earthquake. Roberta Giuffrida won the Photo Contest "Un luogo per ZeroBook" in 2019, chaired by Armando Rotoletti. That Photo Contest promotes lost human places that need more attention and care, and a recovery in collective memory. "What do you see? Look at the tragic ruins of the earthquake (1968) which uprooted men, animals, houses. Through her vision the photographer challenges this destiny of death releasing new reasons for life. These buildings, destroyed by catastrophic natural events, have also become symbols of remembrance - preventing this past event from oblivion" (From Introduction by Pippo Pappalardo)
