"From when you wake up in the morning, to when you're trying to figure out what's for lunch, to responding to that annoying email, to getting that bad news, to brushing your teeth before bed--God is here, meeting you in your ordinary, everyday life." --Reclaim Today
So much of life is made up of little things that too often feel disconnected from our relationship with God and our purpose as His followers--but nothing could be further from the truth.
Reclaim Today invites you to shift your perspective through prayer. With over 250 prayers organized by topics such as relationships, emotions, and hard times, Prayers for Ordinary Life helps you discover that every day is an opportunity to sit in God's presence and cultivate a life of openness to Him. Find the words for everyday situations including:
- A Prayer for Looking in the Mirror
- A Prayer for Burnout
- A Prayer for When It Feels Like God Doesn't Care
- A Prayer for When You're Sick
- A Prayer for Living Far Away from Family and Friends
- A Prayer for the Changing of Leaves
Whether you're pausing to enjoy a game night with friends or to center yourself before a stressful meeting, these prayers create openings to find relief, joy, and rest in God. No matter what you experience today, remember this: God is already present in every moment.
