This book is a peek behind the curtain-an honest look at the decisions, compromises, and quiet moments that slowly led Jason Jacobus away from the life he had dreamed of...and the one God had designed him to live. It's not polished. It's not written from the mountaintop. It's raw, unfiltered, and rooted in the lived experience of someone who found himself off course-and made the decision to return.

Realigned is for anyone who feels that same quiet tension-that subtle sense that something in life is out of alignment. It's for the man or woman who knows they have been called to lead-at home and at work-but who feels the weight of falling short. This isn't a book written by someone who's always gotten it right. It's written by someone in the arena, as Teddy Roosevelt once described: the one "whose face is marred by dust and sweat and blood," who has dared greatly, failed often, but has chosen a better path-and now wants to help others find theirs.

The book opens with Part 1, "The Drift", a vulnerable account of what misalignment looks like in real life-not in theory, but in the slow, subtle compromises that pull us away from who we're called to be. It also tells the story of an awakening-those moments of conviction when God gets our attention-and how Jason and his family made the decision to return to a life with God at the center. From there, Part 2, "The Shift", offers practical guidance of how to start realigning the key areas of life: faith, health, family, and finances. The journey culminates with Part 3, "The Gift", a final charge-a challenge to rise, take the hill, and step into the life God is calling each of us to live.

Throughout the pages, you will encounter personal stories, scripture, tangible takeaways, and inventory questions-but more than anything, you will be reminded:

1. You were created by a loving God, on purpose and for a purpose.

2. You're not alone in losing your way-and you still have the opportunity to return.

3. Conviction is a gift-and the real change begins the moment we embrace it.

4. Hope comes from a faithful God who always welcomes us back.

About the Author
Jacobus, Jason: - Jason Jacobus is an executive in the chemical industry with a background in leadership, M&A, and consulting. He earned his psychology degree from Texas Christian University, originally planning to pursue a career in family and marriage counseling. That early passion for helping people navigate life and relationships never left-but over time, he realized that business could offer a unique path to do just that. It gave him a way to marry his competitive spirit with his desire to influence people's lives in meaningful, lasting ways. He later earned his MBA from Southern Methodist University and has spent his career leading teams and building businesses with people at the center.Born and raised in Texas, Jason now lives in Bixby, Oklahoma with his wife of sixteen years and their three kids. He's always had a love for the outdoors-whether that's hunting, fishing, or a round of golf-but these days, his favorite way to spend time is diving into whatever his wife and kids are most passionate about. From sports and school events to their latest hobbies or questions about life, he tries to show up fully for whatever matters most to them in the moment.Though he's been a believer his entire life, Jason's faith grew deeper when he recognized how far he'd drifted from the life God was calling him to live. That personal awakening led to a profound realignment-one so impactful that he felt a responsibility to share it with others. This book is part of that calling. Jason hopes readers walk away with equal parts conviction and hope-and a renewed desire to realign their own lives with what matters most.
