JOYCE MILTON wrote many, many beginning readers during her career.

SHELLY HEHENBERGER has a Master of Fine Arts degree from The University of Cincinnati, 1994. She has been a professional illustrator of children's books since 1996. She lives in North Carolina where she works as a painter and art teacher.
