Hicks, Rowena: - Rowena Hicks has worked in education for over 30 years. First as a teacher then as a special needs coordinator, trainer and deputy headteacher. Over the years in many schools, Rowena Hicks has worked alongside dedicated teachers and teaching assistants who give their all to the children and in the process burn out themselves. After working very long hours while bringing up her four children, Rowena Hicks herself experienced burn out and now supports teachers to enable them to overcome the demands and expectations in schools and to find a way to thrive in the midst of it.Her passion is to work with staff to reignite their passion for teaching, to find energy and fulfillment again.
