The Color Wheel is a collection of 117 poems by 117 poets. The collection includes such poets as Kim Addonizio, Ted Kooser, Alice Friman, Alberto Rios, Paulann Petersen, Betsy Sholl, Ann Fisher-Wirth, Sydney Lea, and Dorianne Laux. Each poem makes strategic use of color. Some focus on a single color while others include multiple colors. The poems capitalize on the symbolism of colors and the emotional associations with colors. Many colors are represented in the collection-red, pink, green, blue, lavender, black, orange, gold, and more, a veritable rainbow. Many styles and voices are also represented in this rich and varied collection, one with something for all readers.
