Leadership isn't revealed when everything goes according to plan. It's revealed when everything doesn't.

Whether you're leading a company, coaching a team, raising a family, or simply striving to become the best version of yourself, the principles of exceptional leadership remain remarkably consistent.

In The G.R.I.T. Factor in Leadership: Leadership Lessons from the Golf Course, championship golf coach and five-time CEO Jeff Van Straten joins forces with NBA Hall of Famer, entrepreneur, leadership coach, and bestselling author Sidney Moncrief to share eighteen timeless leadership principles forged through decades of experience at the highest levels of business, sports, and personal development.

Drawing from championship golf, executive leadership, and elite athletic performance, Jeff and Sidney demonstrate how the same principles that build winning teams also build thriving organizations, stronger families, and lives of lasting impact.

Centered around the G.R.I.T. framework, Getting Better Each Day, Resilience, Intentionality, and Tenacity, this book provides practical tools for navigating adversity, making better decisions under pressure, developing resilient teams, leading with humility, and inspiring others to achieve more than they thought possible.

Each chapter blends compelling stories, leadership insights, practical takeaways, and reflection questions that challenge readers to immediately apply these principles in their own lives.

Golf is the classroom.

Leadership is the lesson.

Whether you're an executive, entrepreneur, coach, educator, athlete, parent, or aspiring leader, The G.R.I.T. Factor in Leadership will equip you to lead with greater clarity, stronger character, and unwavering purpose-on the course, in the boardroom, and wherever people are counting on you.
