About the Author
Derek Hall is the author of over 30 books on science and nature.

Daniel Gilpin studied zoology at Bristol University before becoming a professional writer. He is now one of Britain's most respected natural history authors. Daniel has written more than 50 books and contributed to several encyclopedias. He has also written numerous articles for part-works and magazines. His work has been published in Europe, North America and Asia, with some titles translated into several different languages.

Amy-Jane Beer is a professional biologist with a doctorate from the University of London.

Returns Policy

You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).

You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly.
