About the Author
Wilson, Rebekah: - A Métis children's book author and public speaker, Rebekah Wilson is passionate about carrying on Métis stories and history to the next generation. Her debut children's narrative, The Tiny Voyageur, tells the story of a young girl who travels back in the dream world to spend time with her ancestors, learning the Michif language and the Métis way of life. Rebekah is a grateful guest living in the traditional territory of the Saugeen Ojibway Nation in Ontario, Canada. She loves spending time learning about plants and medicines from her grandmother, being out on the land and on the water, and sharing her love of beadwork through storytelling.
