About the Author
Scarlet, Janina: - Dr. Janina Scarlet is a psychologist, author of 18 books, and a TEDx speaker. She is also the Founding Director of Divine Feminine Publishing. A Ukrainian-born refugee, she survived Chernobyl radiation and persecution. She immigrated to the United States at the age of 12 with her family and later, inspired by the X-Men, developed Superhero Therapy to help people with anxiety, depression, and PTSD. Dr. Scarlet is therecipient of the Eleanor Roosevelt Human Rights Award by the United Nations Association for her work on Superhero Therapy. Her work has been featured on Yahoo, BBC, NPR, Sunday Times, The New York Times, Forbes, and many other outlets. She regularly consults on books and television shows, including HBO's The Young Justice. She was also interviewed for Marvel's MPower series and was portrayed as a comic book character in Gail Simone's Seven Days graphic novel.Noller, E. M.: - E. M. Noller is a neurodivergent writer of horror stories and weird fiction, and the acquisitions editor at Divine Feminine Publishing. Her work has been published in several journals and anthologies, including the short story, "What the Tide Brings," forthcoming in 2026 from Twenty Bellows Press. She is currently working on a novel that examines the narcissistic cycle of abuse through the lens of speculative body horror. E. M. Returns Policy

You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).

You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
