Patti Wigington has been practicing as a Pagan and witch since 1987. She is the founder and high priestess of a local coven, works as an educator in the witchcraft community, blogs about magical things, and has a low-key obsession with genealogical research. In addition to a full-time job in the corporate world, Patti served as editor of the Paganism & Wicca site at LearnReligions, previously About.com, from 2007-2020. She is the author of a number of books on magical practice and serves as a board member for the Central Ohio Pagan Alliance. Patti has a BA in history from Ohio University as well as a graduate certificate in management and leadership and lives in a magical cottage in the forest with a large dog, a pair of fat, lazy cats, and an absurd collection of tarot decks.
