An Associate Professor, he has taught at institutions including the U.S. Army War College and Texas A&M University. With approximately 75 publications, he blends academic rigor with operational insight. Richard holds graduate degrees in Business and Organizational Security Management and Counseling, along with a Doctorate in Management and Homeland Security, and has consulted on crisis response and threat mitigation.
